Dr. Michael Wilson graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005. After practicing for two years in New York City, it came to Dr. Wilson's attention that there was a significant unmet need for dental care in upstate New York. Many dentists are not willing to treat Medicaid patients, as low reimbursements and high no-show rates often accompany this demographic. Dr. Wilson opened a practice in Binghamton in March 2008 to address this huge unmet need and increase access to care for an underserved population. The practice grew to 14 doctors within two years.
