Transport Workers Union Local 100, based in New York, is the world’s largest transportation Union. Our 44,000 members operate trains and buses, maintain the signals and tracks, provide customer service, clean platforms and subway cars, and service and repair mechanical equipment, including elevators and escalators. We also represent workers at private transportation firms, such as Liberty Lines, which provides commuter transportation in Westchester, as well as the NY Waterway ferry service. In addition, there are members employed by school bus companies. We move New York and welcome those with an interest in public transportation or who want to join our Union family. We're a fighting Union and we stand up for the rights of our members.
