Programs The Department of Veterans Affairs and Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD-VASH Program combine case management and clinical services with housing voucher rental assistance for homeless veterans and their families. In partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, AMVETS Department of California Service Foundation founded the Welcome Home Program to provide the once-homeless veterans and their families with furniture, appliances and other household items for their new homes. We also fund other programs for homeless veterans, women veterans, education, vocational rehabilitation and employment, and military funerals. We are COMMITTED TO SERVE THOSE WHO SERVED®.
