The Consulate General of Canada in Detroit serves as the Government of Canada’s representative in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. Our mandate is to manage Canada's diplomatic and consular relations, and to encourage and foster bilateral trade and investment. This includes: communicating Canada's policy positions and values to stakeholders in the territory, strengthening rule-based trading arrangements and expanding free and fair market access at bilateral, regional and global levels, and working with a range of partners inside and outside government to achieve increased economic partnership and enhanced security for Canada and the United States.
