During that time Wind became one of the nation's longest-lived, the longest-lived in Kentucky, and among the most respected literary journals. Quentin proudly stated, "Readers of Wind include professors, factory workers, and housewives."Throughout the years the work of talented newcomers has appeared in the pages of wind alongside the work of some of the nation's best-known writers.
