Van Hool has around 4,450 staff worldwide, the majority of whom of course work in the production facilities in Koningshooikt (Belgium) and in Skopje (Macedonia). Annual production has reached levels of 1,200 buses and 3,000 trailers. In June 2024 the Dutch VDL Groep acquired parts of the Flemish bus manufacturer Van Hool. The family-owned industrial company headquartered in Eindhoven (NL) acquired Van Hool in Belgium and the production facility in Macedonia.
