OphimCMS-based websites recently reported "Malicious Composer Packages Target Vietnamese Streaming Sites with iPhone Spyware and Crypto Theft", a noteworthy cybersecurity incident.

Security researchers uncovered 13 trojanized Composer theme packages on Packagist, designed to compromise Vietnamese movie and comic streaming websites built on OphimCMS and KKPhim platforms.

The disruption is felt across the environment, affecting Vietnamese streaming websites (OphimCMS, KKPhim) and Visitor browsers (iOS devices on iOS 18.4–18.6.x), and exposing Keychain databases (passwords, credentials), Wi-Fi credentials and SMS messages.

In response, moved swiftly to contain the threat with measures like Removal of malicious Composer packages and Rotation of credentials handled by affected servers, and began remediation that includes Update to patched iOS versions (18.7.3 or 26.2+) and Audit Composer dependencies.
