Oriental Energy Resources Limited (OERL) is a privately held indigenous oil and gas exploration and production company with a primary focus on Nigeria. Created in 1990, the company is a founding member of Nigeria's local upstream oil sector through the Indigenous Concession Programme and Local Content Capacity Building Policy. Oriental Energy Resources operates the EBOK oil field which hit first oil in April 2011, flagging off commercial production.
