The NHS Digital Surveys Programme measures the prevalence of key lifestyle behaviours such as diet, smoking and drinking, undiagnosed health conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, and the proportion of people with health conditions or social care needs. The Survey programme also measures the prevalence of mental health conditions in both children and young people and in adults. Our resources can help identify which groups might be most at risk, monitor inequalities, compare outcomes, and highlight where there may be pressure points on services.
