On 15 June 2025, a cybersecurity incident called "ACR Stealer Campaigns Exfiltrate Enterprise Data via ClickFix Lures" came to light.
Since early 2024, ACR Stealer, a sophisticated infostealer, has been targeting enterprise networks to harvest saved browser credentials, live session tokens, PDFs, and files from synced Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and SharePoint folders.
The disruption is felt across the environment, affecting Enterprise networks and Windows systems, and exposing Browser credentials, Live session tokens and PDFs.
In response, moved swiftly to contain the threat with measures like Blocking the Run dialog and Restricting mshta.exe via GPO/AppLocker/WDAC, and began remediation that includes Revoke tokens, Isolate hosts and Monitor outbound connections.
