The Digital Futures Institute combines an expertise in arts and humanities with other disciplines to forge a better relationship between the individual and technology. Through an understanding of human needs, cultures and behaviours as well as addressing questions of ethics and responsibility - our research programmes, educational courses and external engagement activities reframe what are usually thought of as purely technical challenges to human and social challenges that require innovative ways of knowing, responding and making.
