Werth Wealth Management Discloses Data Breach Affecting Client Personal Information Werth Wealth Management LLC, a financial advisory firm based in Hays, Kansas, recently reported a data breach after an unauthorized third party accessed its systems. The incident was detected on July 1, 2026, when Raymond James’ cybersecurity division identified suspicious activity on Werth Wealth Management’s networks. Following an investigation, the firm confirmed that the breach was contained to its own systems and did not compromise client accounts held at Raymond James or result in unauthorized access to funds. However, exposed files may have included sensitive personal data, such as names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, and Raymond James account numbers. The breach was officially reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on July 29, 2026. The total number of affected individuals across the U.S. has not been disclosed. In response, Werth Wealth Management and Raymond James are offering impacted clients a complimentary two-year membership in Experian’s IdentityWorks program, which includes credit monitoring, daily credit file tracking, and access to reports from the three major credit bureaus.
