The city of Antwerp, Belgium suffered a ransomware attack on its digital provider that disrupted its digital services. The disruption in services affected everything from schools, daycare centres, and the police. The hackers breached the servers and stole the administrative software from Antwerp’s digital partner, Digipolis and affected all Windows applications and phone service for some departments.
