Vicksburg-Warren School District in Mississippi detected unusual activity within its digital environment in May 2021 which resulted in a data breach incident. The threat actor accessed and exfiltrated10 GB of data containing personal information and even posted some images of data allegedly exfiltrated from them. The district offered those affected IDX services that include twelve (12) months of credit and CyberScan monitoring, a $1,000,000 insurance reimbursement policy, and fully managed identity theft recovery services.
