The U.S. Mission to International Organizations in Vienna advances U.S. policy on the front lines of multilateral diplomacy working with seven major organizations of the United Nations system in Vienna, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the UN Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). U.S. Mission personnel engage daily on issues as diverse as nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear for peaceful uses, international crime corruption and illicit drug threats, and peaceful uses of space exploration.
