The purpose of the University Honors Program is not to make students do more or work harder because they are honors students. Rather, it is about helping students find meaning and gain deeper learning in what they are already doing. It’s about discovering and diving into their passions. It’s about encouraging students to take risks and try new things inside and outside the classroom. It’s about teaching students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world settings. Finally, it’s about transformation - academically, professionally and personally.
