The community of the Trinity Area School District was clamouring for explanations after numerous virtual classrooms at the elementary and high schools were compromised. The security breach was captured on camera by parent Kodi Cimino. Her son's school-issued laptop was emitting voices that kept repeating racial epithets. Superintendent Michael Lucas wrote to parents to inform them that authorities are looking into the breach and that the district is in contact with Zoom to determine how it happened. Until the problem is rectified, the district is delaying live instruction.
