The breach was first detected on October 31, 2025, when the company discovered encrypted files on its systems. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor had accessed its networks as early as October 24, 2025. By February 10, 2026, Titan Roofing completed its review of the compromised data, confirming that personally identifiable information (PII) had been exposed. The affected data included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account information. Notifications to impacted individuals began on March 20, 2026, with 17 people in Massachusetts, one in New Hampshire, and one in Vermont confirmed as affected. The law firm Shamis & Gentile P.A. is now investigating whether Titan Roofing failed to adequately protect consumer data, potentially entitling victims to compensation under state and federal law.
