The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported a data breach at Auto Club Trust, FSB, disclosed on October 6, 2023. The breach occurred between May 27 and May 30, 2023, involving unauthorized access to personal information due to a cybersecurity incident associated with the MOVEit software. The incident affected 46,033 individuals, including 24 residents of Maine. Affected information included names, contact information, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and financial account information, among others.
