Our story begins in 1960, when Tenby Schools first started as a kindergarten for British expatriates. It quickly grew to become one of Malaysia’s first international schools, Tenby International School (TIS), Ipoh, led by Mrs. Dorothy Nelson-Doig and named after her hometown of Tenby, Wales. Over the next 40 years, Tenby Schools would undergo great changes, just like its adopted home.
