Italian police have dismantled a Romanian ransomware gang known as 'Diskstation' that targeted various organizations, including civil rights groups, design and film production companies, and international nonprofits in northern Italy. The group encrypted victims' systems and demanded large cryptocurrency ransoms to restore access.
