Steyr Arms, Inc. is the U.S. manufacturer, importer, and distributor for Steyr Arms hunting rifles, sporting rifles, and pistols. Founded in 1864 by industrial pioneer Josef Werndl, the first rifles produced had a “Mannlicher stock” also known as a “full stock” because it extended the entire length of the barrel. This new design enabled Steyr Arms to quickly establish a reputation for producing unique and incredibly accurate firearms.
