Simon Eye Management suffered a data breach incident after it noticed suspicious activity related to certain employee email accounts. The incident compromised information like individuals’ name; medical history; treatment or diagnosis information; health information; health insurance information, including policy and/or subscriber information; insurance application and/or claims information of more than more than 144,000 patients. Simon Eye immediately took actions and investigated the incident with the help of third party forensics.
