The official web site of Argentina’s senate was hit by a ransomware attack in January 2022. The attackers dumped the 30,000 files including the personal information and information related to Senate business and finances on the Vice Society’s leak site. The data also contained the sensitive personal information of many individuals. The immediate investigation was launched by the Computer Security team and the systems were resoted and secured.
