The attackers claim to have exfiltrated 2 TB of stolen data and are threatening to leak it unless their ransom demands are met. The company is conducting a forensic investigation to assess the extent of the breach and confirm whether sensitive data—potentially including employee records, proprietary designs, financial documents, or customer information—was compromised. Semikron website was the victim of a cyber-attack by a professional hacker that stolen data from the company’s computer system. The attack has also led to a partial encryption of their IT systems and files and the entire network was forensically investigated and cleaned up. All required steps to prevent further harm were immediately taken with assistance from outside forensic and cyber security professionals. They investigated the incident and notified those affected by email.
