Raychat, a startup company in Iran suffered a data breach incident that exposed millions of its user records after its systems were targeted in a cyberattack involving a bot. The company used to store its user data on a misconfigured MongoDB database that left millions of documents vulnerable. The attackers leveraged a bot attack and destroyed the database.
