Rahavard Quarterly Rahavard (in Persian: ره اورد), is a Los Angeles-based Persian language quarterly publication of roughly 300 pages. It was established in 1982 by Hassan Shahbaz. The quarterly publishes scholarly articles in the field of Persian (Iranian) studies, politics, culture, society and beyond. It takes contributions from its readers and followers who largely constitute the elite of the Iranian diaspora world-wide. Its readers are well educated, well informed citizens, business owners, scholars, intellectuals, professors, politicians and philanthropists. Rahavrad is entire supported by its very few advertisers. Since the death of Hassan Shahbaz in May of 2006, Rahavard has been published by his widow Sholeh Shams shahbaz. Today, she has grown the publication both in volume, subscription and influence. Ms. Shams is currently writing a book entitled Farewell to Dignitaries, which pays tribute to intellectual and political leaders who have died since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. After her husband's death, she published his last, 300-page work entitled Sporadic Conversations. Today, Shams has assigned Maryam Shargh-Zar as the English language editor for Rahavard, with the objective to bring a younger generation of Iranian global readers into the Rahavard fray. Among its immediate plans are a facebook page, a twitter handle, and a growing roster of writers and contributors who can make the English section relevant, appealing and ultimately, influential.

Just as our name suggests—“omni” (in all ways and places) and “dawn” (the first appearance of light)—we publish writing that opens us anew to the myriad ways that language may bring new light, new awareness to us. We began Omnidawn in 2001 because of our belief that lively, culturally pertinent, emotionally and intellectually engaging literature can be of great value, and we wanted to participate in the dissemination of such work. We believe that our society needs small presses so that widely diverse ideas and points-of-view are easily accessible to everyone. Italo Calvino: “… the function of literature is communication between things that are different… because they are different, not blunting but even sharpening the differences between them, following the true bent of written language.”

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
