Step by Step Employment Services contracts under the Social Security Administration's "Ticket-to-Work " program to assist beneficiaries who genuinely want to work and would like help with career counseling. We also work with insurance agencies to determine vocational rehabilitation options for their clients. Some of our clients have great work histories but an acquired disability creates seemingly insurmountable obstacles to return to work efforts. I feel it is my job to assist clients re-claim and utilize their innate abilities in order to realistically identify attainable options for re-employment. I also work with those who have no work experience but who are well prepared for the workplace through hands-on training or formal education. SBSES works closely with clients to gain an understanding of their abilities and needs. We believe it’s important that the job is right for the client and the client is right for the job. We also follow-up after the client is employed to make sure everything is going smoothly and help the employer or the employee with any concerns.
