PCE Constructors Inc., a Louisiana-based construction firm, suffered a data breach between June 12–17, 2025, when an unauthorized actor infiltrated its network and exfiltrated sensitive employee data. The compromised information included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and government-issued IDs of current and former employees. The breach was detected on June 16, 2025, with confirmation of the data exposure on July 7, 2025. Regulatory disclosures were made to the Montana and Texas Attorneys General in September 2025. Affected individuals were notified via mail and offered free Kroll identity monitoring services. The company took containment measures, including isolating parts of its network and engaging cybersecurity experts, while also alerting federal law enforcement.
