The Mississippi Department of Education has notified that a recent computer theft at Natchez High School which compromised personal student information. A computer housing the OCSAE student database from 2014 to 2021 was among the office equipment that was taken. About 5,300 children who had cooperated with a school attendance officer were listed in the database, however, exposed information includes the addresses, birthdays, and student ID numbers of the students. Social Security numbers are not included in student database records.
