Vision: We will work to ensure the mental health of everyone in Hertfordshire is supported and respected. Mission: Providing prevention, recovery and support services in Hertfordshire to empower people to take control of their mental health. We Care- Listening and facilitating change. Openness- Acting with integrity and transparency; caring for staff, volunteers and service users. Services: Social Groups- including art and craft, music, creative writing, quiz Peer Support Groups- including women's group, men's group, motivational Outreach Support- 1-1 support and group support in the community Talking Therapies- Counselling at our St Albans and Stevenage centres Get Set Go- a free service which combines physical and mental health support. Training: Living Well Courses & Workshops- free and currently online. Mindfulness- free and online for frontline workers Mental Health Courses- Mental Health Awareness, Mental Wellbeing and Resilience, Guide to Wellness Action Plans, Mental Health Awareness in Sports and Physical Activity, Mental Health Awareness for Creative Minds. Corporate Training Bespoke and fixed packages including; Corona Virus & Wellbeing at work, Mental Health Awareness for Managers, Building Resilience in the Workplace, Conflict Management & Resolution. Training for Schools Bespoke and fixed packages including; Train the Trainer Relaxing and Managing Stress, Self Harm. Funding: Mind in Mid Herts is a financially independent mental health charity in Hertfordshire that is affiliated to national Mind. We are responsible for our own funding and depend on our community.
