Ransomware Attack on Meliá Hotel Chain

The Meliá hotel chain fell victim to a computer attack in the early morning of the 4th of October that affected several of the group's hotels. The attack led to the activation of response protocols and containment work. Though the hotel group did not reveal more information the investigation pointed out that the attack was a ransomware-type cyber attack.
