Marietta City Schools (MCS) is a Georgia Charter System that serves more than 8,900 students at one PreK Early Learning Center, eight elementary choice schools, one sixth grade academy, one middle school, and one high school. MCS is the first International Baccalaureate (IB) World School District in Georgia. Marietta City School was targeted by the cyber attack that exposed a number of employees' email accounts. There don't seem to be any compromised student emails. It was emails instead of school information. Instead of their personal accounts being hijacked, it was the administrators' Marietta City Schools emails.
