The LCGB declares that a cyberattack on its IT infrastructure occurred. As soon as this occurrence was reported, a crisis team was assembled. A group of cybersecurity experts provided support in order to stop the attack, safeguard the infrastructure, guarantee the restoration of a fully functional computer system, and investigate the occurrence. The IT environment was back up and running, and improved security protocols and infrastructure monitoring were put in place. No members' or staff members' personal information was duplicated. The scope of the data leak and the kind of information that was exposed are still being investigated.
