The California Office of the Attorney General reported a data breach involving the International Mission Board (IMB) on July 6, 2018. The breach, discovered on April 11, 2018, involved unauthorized access to personal information of 4,663 California residents, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and possibly health information. IMB provided identity theft protection services and notified affected individuals through mail on the same date.
