As part of Helmholtz Munich, we as IEM and EMIH at Augsburg research the molecular mechanisms of human-environment interactions and work closely with national and international partners - including universities, Helmholtz centers and pharmaceutical companies - to develop medication, thearpies and preventive solutions for chronic inflammatory, environmental diseases. Our particular focus is on allergies and neurodermatitis. We are increasingly integrating digital solutions to optimize personalized treatments and prevention strategies. In close cooperation with the Outpatient Clinic of Environmental Medicine at University Hospital Augsburg we offer comprehensive treatments and consultations for all skin and environmental diseases.
