Hungarian State Treasury Hit by Cyberattack Linked to Russian Servers Hungary’s State Treasury has confirmed a cyberattack targeting the IT infrastructure of its Agriculture and Rural Development Division, the National Paying Agency responsible for managing agricultural and rural development funds. Preliminary findings suggest the attack originated from Russian servers. Upon detection, IT specialists swiftly isolated infected servers to contain the breach. While no customer data was compromised and no evidence of data loss has been found, the attack encrypted files on certain employee computers, indicating the use of ransomware or similar malware.
