John Fawkner by Healthscope fell victim to a data security breach that exposed Dozens of patients' medical records. The compromised information included the patients' names, ages, diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, how many days they'd been in hospital and whether they lived alone. The hospital worked with the Privacy Commissioner and took preventive steps.
