The Governance & Public Policy Initiative (GPPI) was set up under the aegis of the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), India’s premier think tank in August 2012. GPPI has been established to develop innovative approaches to effective and accountable governance, promotion of political and social entrepreneurship and to foster a strategic community that brings together Indian law makers, eminent scholars and academicians, think tank analysts, the bureaucracy and civil society through sustained discussions and debates. Presently, GPPI-CPR’s primary focus is on health related issues induced by the global coronavirus pandemic. It engages with Members of Parliament, key leaders from various Indian political parties, Members of the Indian Legislative Assemblies and the country’s current and emerging leaders in our efforts to hone the governance and public policy discourse in India. GPPI takes no institutional positions on matters of policy. MCP Server Kubernetes is an MCP Server that can connect to a Kubernetes cluster and manage it. Prior to 2.9.8, there is a security issue exists in the exec_in_pod tool of the mcp-server-kubernetes MCP Server. The tool accepts user-provided commands in both array and string formats. When a string format is provided, it is passed directly to shell interpretation (sh -c) without input validation, allowing shell metacharacters to be interpreted. This vulnerability can be exploited through direct command injection or indirect prompt injection attacks, where AI agents may execute commands without explicit user intent. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.9.8.
