A cyber event has reportedly occurred, according to the Financial Services Commission (FSC). The organisation, a team of cyber security specialists from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) and the Jamaica Cyber Incident Response Team (Ja-CIRT) are working assiduously to determine the scope of the incident. The FSC aimed to reassure personnel and other interested parties that every precaution is being taken to safeguard their personal information and data. The FSC is still in operation, but has issued a warning to stakeholders that there might be processing and response delays.
