Einstein Health Network, a Pennsylvania-based company operating medical rehab, outpatient, and primary care centers suffered a data breach incident that exposed patients' personal and medical information. The incident exposed patients’ names, dates of birth, medical record or patient account numbers, and/or treatment or clinical information, such as diagnoses, medications, providers, types of treatment, or treatment locations. The company has opened a helpline and offered one year of credit monitoring for patients whose Social Security Numbers were compromised.

PA-based Einstein Healthcare Network suffered a phishing attack as unauthorized individuals who gained access to certain employee email accounts. The compromised email accounts contained patients’ names, dates of birth, medical record or patient account numbers, and/or treatment or clinical information. Those patients whose Social Security number was exposed have been offered a 1 year complimentary membership
