The largest mobile network provider in Greece, Cosmote, disclosed that a cyberattack allowed access to the personal data of 1000 of its customers. The calls made or received by mobile subscribers are among the information that has been exposed, sans names or surnames. No names, addresses, passwords, or information about credit cards or bank accounts, nor the substance of calls or messages, were included in the file. The notification was made 40 days after the occurrence in order to allow for a confidential inquiry.
