In late April 2026, the company discovered that an employee had emailed personal and employment data of other employees to their personal devices and email accounts on or around March 30, 2026. The exposed information included names, Social Security numbers, employee IDs, hire dates, and compensation details. Corient responded by securing its systems, revoking the employee’s access, and collaborating with forensic experts to remove all company data from the individual’s personal accounts. The breach impacted 251 individuals in Texas, 78 in Massachusetts, and two in New Hampshire. Class action law firm Shamis & Gentile P.A. is investigating the incident and potential compensation claims for affected individuals. The firm is reviewing eligibility for those whose data was exposed in the breach.
