Established under the Consumer Council Ordinance (Cap. 216), the Consumer Council is committed to enhancing consumer welfare and empowering consumers to protect themselves, by acting as advocate for consumer interests, facilitating constructive discussion and promulgation of pro-consumer policies, and empowering consumers to help themselves.
