The breach resulted from external hacking, and Social Security Numbers were among the compromised information.

The Consolidated High School District 230 in Illinois includes Carl Sandburg High School, Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Buffalo Public Schools, Victor J. Andrew High School, Haverhill Public Schools, and Pysa suffered from the data breach incident. The school's entire remote learning platform systems were not working. The school along with cyber security experts was working to resolve the issue and rescheduling the classes.
