Cybersecurity experts determined that a sophisticated threat actor exploited legitimate third-party cloud systems to bypass security measures, gaining access to sensitive files between January 16 and January 22, 2026. Exposed information includes names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license and passport numbers, other government IDs, and financial account details though access codes were not compromised.
