Referrals for counseling come from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to the Office of the District of Riverside County, CA, all area school districts, Child Protective Services, CA Victims of Crime Program, law enforcement, self-referrals, web site, Yellow Pages, physicians, social workers, relatives, the Betty Ford Center and other agencies whose mission is directed at the care of children in need. Through the popular Protect Yourself Rules prevention program, the Center effectively educates kindergarten through sixth grade students both domestically and internationally about warning signs and provides information on what to do when confronted with abusive behavior. The outpatient state-of-the-art facility is located on the campus of Eisenhower Medical Center in the Palm Springs area of California and is a federally registered 501.c.3 nonprofit organization.
