The Mission of the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center is to counsel physically, sexually and emotionally abused children, and to focus on prevention, community education and breaking the cycle of generational abuse. No child is ever turned away due to a family's inability to pay. The Barbara Sinatra Children's Center (BSCC) was founded in 1986 by Barbara and Frank Sinatra in southern California’s Coachella Valley to meet the community’s need for a permanent facility that would respond to the destructive forces of child sexual abuse. The nonprofit BSCC is dedicated to ensuring every child’s right to a normal, healthy and secure childhood. The organization provides individual, group and family therapy and special programs that address issues associated with children suffering the affects of child abuse and neglect, and who are at risk to be abused. The Center shares knowledge about child abuse prevention, protection, education and counseling gained throughout 31 years via publications, lectures and highly visited web site www.barbarasinatrachildrenscenter.org. Referrals for counseling come from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to the Office of the District of Riverside County, CA, all area school districts, Child Protective Services, CA Victims of Crime Program, law enforcement, self-referrals, web site, Yellow Pages, physicians, social workers, relatives, the Betty Ford Center and other agencies whose mission is directed at the care of children in need. Through the popular Protect Yourself Rules prevention program, the Center effectively educates kindergarten through sixth grade students both domestically and internationally about warning signs and provides information on what to do when confronted with abusive behavior. The outpatient state-of-the-art facility is located on the campus of Eisenhower Medical Center in the Palm Springs area of California and is a federally registered 501.c.3 nonprofit organization.

Description

SummaryA command injection vulnerability (CWE-78) has been found to exist in the `wrangler pages deploy` command. The issue occurs because the `--commit-hash` parameter is passed directly to a shell command without proper validation or sanitization, allowing an attacker with control of `--commit-hash` to execute arbitrary commands on the system running Wrangler. Root causeThe commitHash variable, derived from user input via the --commit-hash CLI argument, is interpolated directly into a shell command using template literals (e.g.,  execSync(`git show -s --format=%B ${commitHash}`)). Shell metacharacters are interpreted by the shell, enabling command execution. ImpactThis vulnerability is generally hard to exploit, as it requires --commit-hash to be attacker controlled. The vulnerability primarily affects CI/CD environments where `wrangler pages deploy` is used in automated pipelines and the --commit-hash parameter is populated from external, potentially untrusted sources. An attacker could exploit this to: * Run any shell command. * Exfiltrate environment variables. * Compromise the CI runner to install backdoors or modify build artifacts. Credits Disclosed responsibly by kny4hacker. Mitigation * Wrangler v4 users are requested to upgrade to Wrangler v4.59.1 or higher. * Wrangler v3 users are requested to upgrade to Wrangler v3.114.17 or higher. * Users on Wrangler v2 (EOL) should upgrade to a supported major version.
