Apollo Career Center ("Apollo"), an adult education center located in Allen County, Ohio suffered from a data breach incident after an unauthorized person obtained access to its systems between May 5, 2021, and May 11, 2021, and transferred some files outside of its network. The exposed information includes the former students' names and Social Security numbers. Those whose information was affected by the event were first informed by Apollo. Apollo advises everyone whose information is at risk to be watchful for instances of fraud or identity theft by checking their account statements and free credit reports for any suspicious activity and reporting it to the relevant law enforcement agency.
