The LockBit ransomware group asserts that it has infiltrated Aguas do Porto, a municipal water utility corporation in Portugal, and has threatened to release the stolen information. The thieves have not yet released samples of the stolen data to demonstrate the security breach. The amount and kind of data stolen by the ransomware gang are yet unknown. The issue resulted in limitations for several client services. In this regard, every client who has submitted a request for information, a service request, a complaint, or another type of request during the last 72 hours should get in touch with the municipal firm. The operational activity at the vital infrastructure was not compromised, according to the Port of Lisbon Administration.
