Water Street Press (WSP) publishes extraordinary writers working in long-form and short-form, creating literary fiction, commercial fiction and non- fiction for an intelligent, engaged readership. WSP’s guiding passion is to work with both established writers and new talent to publish work often considered too risky, too controversial, too “niche” for established publishers. WSP adheres to the time-honored tradition of carefully curating and thoroughly editing the writers it chooses to publish while taking advantage of emergent, cost-effective and environmentally friendly production, distribution and marketing technologies. WSP publishes both trade paperback and e-book editions—and our e-books are DRM-free: readers who purchase e-books through the WSP web site will receive their purchases in three industry-standard formats, ensuring compatibility with all of the most popular reading devices. Additionally, WSP partners with the major on-line e-book retailers Amazon, Barnes & Noble and the iBookstore. Our writers are extraordinary. Our books are provocative. Our readers are smart.

Description

ThingsBoard in versions prior to v4.2.1 allows an authenticated user to upload malicious SVG images via the "Image Gallery", leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The exploit can be triggered when any user accesses the public API endpoint of the malicious SVG images, or if the malicious images are embedded in an `iframe` element, during a widget creation, deployed to any page of the platform (e.g., dashboards), and accessed during normal operations. The vulnerability resides in the `ImageController`, which fails to restrict the execution of JavaScript code when an image is loaded by the user's browser. This vulnerability can lead to the execution of malicious code in the context of other users' sessions, potentially compromising their accounts and allowing unauthorized actions.
